TENDERS. In the Estate of CORNELIUS O’DONOGHUE, late of Hastings, Hotelkeeper, deceased. WRITTEN TENDERS are invited for the purchase of two (2) stacks of threshed hay. The stacks, which contain ' about 25 tons, are on the paddocks belonging to the above estate, adjoining the Kaiapo Orchard, and now leased to Mr. J. C. Scott.
Tenderers, who may tender for one stack or both, must state how many days they require to ijemove the contents of the stack or 'stacks off the property. The hay must be paid for on acceptance of tender. Tenders close at mv Office at noon on the 18th day of May, 1912.

NAPIER BOROUGH COUNCIL. IVTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Napier Borough Council held- on the Seventh day of May, 191& a resolution was passed that “In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 41 of The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act 1909 and of all other powers it in anywise hereunto enabling the Napier Borough Council hereby resolves that for the purpose of providing a sum of £852/4/- being the amount of a contribution required from the said Council by the Hawkes Bay Hospital and Charitable Aid Board and certified by the said Board to be required for the purpose of making additions to the hospital at Napier (an institution under 1 the control and management of the said Board) the said Council do borrow and raise by way of special loan under The Local Bodies Loans Act 1908 the sum . of £852/4/-.
“ That application for the said loan be maffe to the New Zealand Stateguaranteed Advances Offices Superintendent under the provisions of Part IV. of the. New Zealand State-guaran-teed Advances Act 1909 and the Acts amending the'same. “ That the term of the said loan be 33 J years.
“ That the said loan and the interest thereon be repaid by half-yearly instalments in the manner prescribed by the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act 1909 and the "regulations made thereunder.
“ That the repayment of the said loan and the interest thereon be secured by a Special Rate of one-tenth of a penny in the £. on the annual value of all rateable property in the borough of Napier such special rate to be an annually recurring rate until the. said loan is repaid and to be payable half-yearly in each year during the currency of the loan.” ’ v
