TRUANCY LAW TO BE ENFORCED.
Auckland, May 1. The Board of Education resolved to insist upon private schools conforming to the regulations, making the regular attendance of children on the roll compulsory and requiring school-managers to supply a monthly certificate of attendance, also instructing the truant officer to take action when the law is no complied with.
