MILITANT IRRELIGION.
SCHOOLS THE BATTLEGROUND J
(Received 22, 10.30 a.m.) Sydney. April 22.
Dr. Cleary, Bishop of Auckland, at the opening of St. Mary’s primary school, spoke of militant irreligion. He declared that the great battleground in the future would be the schools. Already the advance guards of irreligion were attacking Europe. If they could keep the children within the ranks of the church, they would hand to future generations a priceless asset.
