The Arbitration Court has made its award in the inusterers' and packers' dispute, fixing the wages at £275/- per week, and Sunday work 10.- extra.

The application for an award for shepherds was dismissed on the ground that there was no evidence of a desire on the shepherds' part. In the farm labourers’ dispute the union applied for permission to cite parties by general ndvertisement.' The application was refused on the ground that no reasonable stops had born taken to cite all tho persons known to be engaged in farming.
