In a demurrer action folloWli the Supreme Court ruled that $ Speaker had no power to deal itH a member once he had left t|| House. Mr. Speaker Willis appealed: .1 the High Court, which unanimnuul dismissed the appeal. . The Chief Justice, delivegs judgment, said the Speaker more power over a member the House than over any other‘pi son.
