At Blacks (Otago) yesterday Stanley Charles Hilgendorf was charged with stealing £-40 and Michael Begley with receiving £2O, the preperty of the Postal Department. Both of the accused were employed c-n the railway at Omakau. Hilgendcrf pleaded guilty “and was committed for sentence, but Begley.pleaded not ‘guilty and was committed for trial. Both were admitted to bail on their own recognisances of £75 each and two sureties of a similar amount.
