THE FISHING SEASON will open on October Ist, 1911, for all rivers within the district, and will close on April 30th, 1912. Licenses can be obtained at all Monet Order Post-offices within the Hawke’s Bay, Waipawa, and Patangata Counties, also from Messrs. J. R. Ross and Co., Napier; Mr. A. H. Hill and Mr. C. T. Wilson, .Dannevirke; Mr. F. M. Kenny, Woodville; Mr. R. R. Groom, Ormondville; Mr. J. Chilweli, Waipuknrau : Mr. Foster Brook, Hastings; Mr. A. Hyde, Hastings; and Mr. Thomas Thompson, Waipawa. The Society will give the sum ot £2 2/-, in addition to half the fine, to anyone giving evidence enabling a conviction to be recorded against any person fishing without a license or out of season. O.
