SYDNEY SHOW.
ADDITIONAL SALES. (Received 10, 9.40 a.m.) Sydney, April 10. It is raining steadily. At the show sales, sixteen additional draught stallions were sold on behalf of New Zealand owners, ranging from 25 to 165 guineas. The latter price was paid for Mr. Andrew Chrostal’s Sir Colin’s Pride. At the yearling sales a Malster— Impellent colt realised 800 guineas, a Prudent King—Enooma colt 900 guineas. COMPETITIONS. The wood-chopping contest at the show was won by Meredith (N.S.W.) Bine Baron again secured the high jump honours, clearing 6ft 9in.
