The Hawke’s Bay Fai-mcrs’ Cooperative, Association, Limited, sold the following stock at Waipukurau yesterday : 211 fat and forward 6tooth wethers (extra good) 16,-7, 194 forward wethers 14/8, 82 2-tooth ewes 7/1, 70 ewes 8/7, 47 cull ewes 5,-6, 2 dairy cows £6. Murray, Roberts and Co., Limited, effected the following sales at AVaipukurau yesterdaj :—32 fat ewes IL9, 64 fat ewes 11/4, 88 forward ewes 10/-, 84 at 8/9.
Dalgety and and Co., Limited, report the following sales at Waipukurau yesterday<3o empty cows £4 1-I'6, 1 Oheifers £4, 170 forward ewes 10 -, 210 2-tooth wethers 14/1, 24 lambs 11/2, 500 shorn lambs 9/6. Lundon, Stewart and Co., Limited, report having held their usual weekly sale at Waipukurau yesterday, when they offered a large yarding of cattle and a fair yarding of sheep to a good attendance of the public. Bidding throughout for all classes of cattle was exceptionally keen, and the whoie yarding cl ng cl hanids much above the ■ ndo -eserves. Sheep sold well in to Ins rates.
