Die stockbreeders of the Dominion have not been slow to recognise the importance of the Masterton Show from a breeder's point of view, ami this is demonstrated by the fact that the exhibition ol sheep, horses and cattle which will be made at the beautiful SolwayGrounds on Tuesday and A) odnesda.v of next week, will eclipse anything of the kind ever semi in the North Island. Not only are the entries in the individual classes numerically stronger than ever before, but the quality of tin l stock to he .shown will be much above the average. The whole of the prominent breeders of Hawke’s Bay, Aianawaiti, and Wairarapa are represented, ami many entries have been received from Marlborough .Auckland, and Taranaki provinces. Apart from stock, there v, iJ| be a magnificent display of farm produce, and the whole of the competitions will bo keenly contested. Those who have not already made arrangements lor accommodation during si ow week should coinmuiiieate with the secretary, Air. J. B. Emmett, who will find comfortable billets ior them.
