AN ARMED CAMP. 3000 CONSTABULARY PARADE THE STREETS. [PBESB ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.] Brisbane. Feb. 13. The Governor has issued a proclamation forbidding unlawful assemblies. A copy was served by the police on the strike leaders. This was followed by a remarkable mobilisation of police near the Trades ILdl. Tl.<- LuJi mounted constabulary appeared riding in fours, with their right sleeves rolled up and holding batons aloft. They were joined later by a band of mounted special constables with fixed bayonets. Altogether 3000 men mobilised. The strikers abandoned Hie usual mass meeting. PRINTERS ASK FOR REINSTATEM ENT. Brisbane, Feb. RJ. A deputation of the Government printing office strikers waited on the Treasurer and made application for reinstatement. They announced their determination to disassociate tnc-n*-selves with the unions.

Sittings of the Full Court are postponed. owing to members of the staff and some counsels acting as special constables. The Strike Committee issued a notice order to prevent conflict with the police, and the usual morning meetings were not held, but important developments are announced. A public meeting will be held tonight. It is rumoured a general call out of seamen is contemplated in order to paralyse transport. .
