CRICKET.

THE MANAGERSHIP DISPUTE. Melbourne, Feb. 3. Hill was present at the meeting of the Board of Control. He was seen afterwards and said he had nothing to say concerning the Board’s action in appointing a manager. This is taken as an indication that the dissatisfied players will not press their protest, anil will be available for selection. They will be given ten days to decide. It has been further decided that if the players also appointed a manager, his salary of £‘4oo and expenses will be charged against the expenses of the tour. The meeting approved of the fixtures of the English tour.
