All Events will be conducted under the Rules of the New Zealand Athletic Union. NOMINATIONS, with proper fees, for Events numbered 4,5, 6,7, 8,9, 22, 23, 24, with last two years’ performances, or if none during that period, the last twelve of any, must be in the hands of the Secretary not later than MONDAY, 12th February, 1912. HANDICAPS declared in the Napier Daily Telegraph, Dannevirke Advocate and Evening Nev, s, and Hawke’s Bay Tribune, on or about TUESDAY, 20th February, 1912. ACCEPTANCES close on the ground. All other entries to be made on the ground at least 20 minutes before the event to be contested. Assumed names not allowed. The Handicapper reserves the right to re-handicap the winner of any event after the handicaps are declared. HASTINGS BRASS BAND Will play Selections during the day.
