RESIDENCE AT DUNEDIN

Dumdin. Jan. 23

A six-roomed house on the main road to North-east Valley was burned down last night. The house was the property of Mr. J. Longworth, and occupied by Mr. J. Sinclair, who lost all his'effects, including his 'library. The house was insured in tin' Alliance f< r £2<io. and the furniture and effeffets for £lOO. in the Standard, and £65 in the United. The fire originated in the kitchen.
