SUPREME COURT.

Wellington, Jan. 18. At the Supreme Court sittings today Arthur Thompson was sentenced o three years for attempted rape An ex-Burnham boy, Richard Tarrant, for theft from a person, received a sentence of twelve months. The prisoner is at present undergoing another term of imprisonment. Bruno O’Mailer pleaded guilty to a charge of battery and was sent to gaol for two years and declared an habitual criminal. Albert Neilsen was sentenced tc Fne months’ for theft. Wm. Hieditch and Isabel Harrington. who had pleaded guilty to theft of £l2O from a country visitor, were sentenced to twelve months’ hard labour.
