The I guests were hospitably entertained at afternoon tea lav Mr. West and bis,staff, and Mi-. West subsequently conducid the party over the vineries and orchards, comprising ever 60 acres, and explained on route .the process cf grafting and methods cf culture in a very mteresting maninc r. Before leaving the farm, flic ) Mayor .on behalf of the party, thank ied Air. Wesf for bis courtesy and the enjoyable afternoon for which ho was responsible, and congratulated him ( and his staff on the up-k.?rp cf the (grounds under Dis supervision, where there were absolutely free from anything in tb.e shine cf weeds. After submitting tc the inevitable camera I fiend, t-ic party returned heme. The journey was made in one of Mesi-rs. Graham and Gobbles drags.
