SMALL TIDAL WAVE.
DAMAGES SMALL CRAFT. (Received. 2. 9.35 a.m.) London, Jan. 1. A tidal wave several feet high was experienced at Feslkstone. It damaged small craft and the noise xxas heard a mile away. CAI SED BY A LAND SLIP (Received 2, 10.5 a.m.) London, Jan. I. The tidal wave at Folkestone was caused by a huge fall from the cliffs near Dover.
