SEVERE STORM.
Hawmi. Dee. 28. Ti:er» was a sr-vi-ro thunderstorm in Hawera early this morning. The forked lightning was very vivid and the his' mi;miiying peals of thunder wet.- unusually heavy. Half an hour before it terminated heavy rain set in. a’ld has continued at intervals 'hrouehmit the morning. As far as ran 'i" ascertained no damage has resulted.
