WHAT THE E.M.F. CAR CAN DO. On XX’ednesday, December 6th last, Mr. 'll. Limbrick’s 30-h.p. E.M.F. car left the Carlton Club Hotel, Hastings, at 5.20 a.m.. en route for XVairoa, with four passengers, including Air. Eustace Lane, who had arranged to deliver a political address in XX airoa on the evening before the elections, and he was oery desirous of being back in Hastings on the morning of polling day. XVell. to go on with the story, the E Al l’’, arrived in XVairoa at 1.30 p.m., and left for home again at 10 p.m., and arrived back in Hastings at 8.T5 a.m. Such good time was .made through the night that thearrived three hours too early at. the XX aslloiit. and consequently this time was lost ifi waiting till the horses arrived.
