A MUTINOUS GARRISON. Lisbon, Dee. 2-1. The mutineers at Braga resented discipline and entrenched themselves in the barracks. Eventually they were overawed and sent to Oporto. The Minister for War in the Chamber of Deputies suggested that their insubordination was tLe result of the anti-Republiean atmosphere of the district. It is intended to repeal the lenient clauses of tlie Military Code. Fie declared that sit undisciplined army was merely a mob and there was great danger in its use.
