Professor ven Vv’assermar.n. a distinguished bacteriologist, in a paper read at the Medical Society, stated that he had made experiments on mice affected with caremoia and sarcoma, two forms of cancer, by an injection of losing and se-cnium. which softened the tumours in three days, and the last remnant Was completely absorbed a week later. Professor von V* asserniann issues a warning against the assumption that the cure is necessarily applicable to a human being, on whom experiments have net yet been tried.
