THE RUSSIAN TREATY.
TAFT’S REQUEST AGREED TO. [TRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT. ] (Received 21. 8.5 a.m.) Washington, Dec. 20. The Senate unanimously ratified President Taft's notification to Russia terminating the treaty. The House of Represenatives is expected to adopt the Senate’s attitude in preference to the Sulzor resolution. NEGOTIATIONS FOR NEW TREATY. (Received 21, 11.30 a.m.) New Y r ork, Dec. 20. President Taft says the United States Cabinet is negotiating for a new treaty with Russia. The best feeling prevails.
