Tiie iiiix-i’ssion circled the Jama Masjid mosqut.* and tlienee up the Ciiadni Chowk. or Silver street. The guns boomed throughout the dev. At the pavilion on the ridge Mr. J. L. Jenkins, on behalf of 2GO representatives of British India, presented an address before Tlieir Majesties entered the camp. The King replied amid tumultuous enthusiasm, paying tributes to the valued experience <,!’ members of the Legislative Council. British India’s chosen represent at ives.
