“MADE IN GERMANY.”
CANADIAN MILITARY SWORDS. Ottawa, Nov. 27. Colonel S. Hughes, the new Minister for Alilitia, has made the surprising discovery that the swords supplied to the Canadian militia officers are very cheap articles of German manufacture. They were supposed to have been made in England, but they were only put together there. The Minister ha scancelled all current orders, and intends to see that none but swords of genuine British material are supplied in future.
