A resolution proposed by one of the audience on bilialf of the speakers that the University students present protest against the spcaKers being adv* iti?cd a? irprc.-entir.g the University, was handed to the chairman, will; declined to receive it.
A section of iiic niuimitce expressid indignation, ami amid yelling and booting the mover of the resolution was If 11 out f*f the hall by the constable, his friends singing '‘He’s ■t jollv good fellow” ami jeering the chairman.
The meeting continued to be rowd''. and before its close no fewer than six persons were ejected by the police for causing a disturbance.
