N.Z. TERRITORIALS. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington. Dec. 4. The C'onimandant of the Forces (General Godle.v) has given instructions that, as far as possible, the officers and non-commissioned officers of the permanent military forces should, between now ami the end oi the year .take any annual leave they may be entitled to. Their work, it is pointed out. has during the year been pra>-t ically night and day in order to I'l’ing the new force up to its present stag*’ <*f organisation, and lie does not wish anyone io forfeit his leave for the year. Early in January training will commence in earnest, and all officers ami noncommissioned officers will be required to be constantly on duty from tliat time to enable the training to be carried out with every regard to local circiimstani’es and the industries of the country. During the period from now to flic end of the year the work of equipping, arming and clothing the forces will be gone on with so as to Le ready for the tr.iinimg tii it wil 1 L- commenced earlv in January.
