FOREST FIRES.
IN CALIFORNIA. (Received 28, 11.40 a.m.) London, Nov. 27. It is reported from Santa Monica, in California, that a rancher, his wife and four children perished in the forest fires at Topago Cannon. A hundred persons escaped by almost impassable trails. Wild animals were driven to the seashore by the flames.
