TO THE EBITOR. Sir, —I noticed that when questions were put to Mr. J. V. Brown he would answer trifling ones, but those that were useful to the public were passed on. Mr. Brown has been to Parliament for three years and I consider he placed his views before the people in an unsatisfactory way, and he was hard to follow. No, sir, I must protest against Mr. Brown’s views in regard to his answering the prohibition question. He is in favour of 50 more hotels and continuance. 1 say that is a terrible blow to our younger generation when an M.P. will stand before hundreds of mothers and fathers and make such a statement. I say we want a change straight awar. —1 am. etc.. AN ELECTOR.
