The injury to the Tangaroa does no? appettr to have been so serious as was at first anticipated. It was found possible to stop the leak at low water, and after the water in the iioid had been pumped out the vc-ssel was enabled to reach the Wairoa wharf at 7 o'clock last night. It is verv ditlic ull t.i obtain any in formation here regarding the- value of the cargo destroyed. It is aritieip.’ited that about two thirds of the vessel’s shipment has lit en damaged. Insurances are not available.
