HASTINGS RUGBY SUB-UNION.
The final meeting of the Hastings Rugby Sub-union was held lai-1 evening, the president’. Mi'- J. Garnett. in the chair. The ‘-r-eretaiy (Mi. L. F. Pegler) presented a return <>f receipts ar t expenditure in connc.-i ion with il-t recent social, showing a ]nofit of over £35 with a few small i.-’t’arna tot come in. The result was r-onsidi-rad x-erx satisfactory and hearty votes, of thanks were passed to the ladies who carried out the slipper arrangements. and did so much to make th? gathering such a pronounced suc-cs-ss ; to the Fre Brigade for *he use of. crockery and to ail others wi.-. .assisted with xariiuis gifts.. The se ■- rftary was also accorded a vote >.< thanks for his efforts in bringing tl;'’ •locii’l to such a successful issue. It was decided to make the social and presentation of prizes an annual event on the cveiiing cf the first day of the Spring Show.
