ITALY ORDERS TORPEDO BOATS. Rome, Oct. 19. The Italian Government has ordered 40 torpedo boats from private firms. LIMITATION OF ARMAMENTS. A GERMAN DENTAL. Berlin, Oct. 19. An inspired statement in the “Kolnische Zeitung” contradicts the ‘‘Daily Chronicle’s” statement legarding the limitation of armaments negotiations between Great Britain and Germany. THE LIBERTE DISASTER. Paris, Oct. 19. The reporter on the Naval Estimates informed the Budget Committee that the Liberte disaster was due to spontaneous combustion cf powder which was older than the marks on the cases indicated. A SIX POUNDER BURSTS. THREE BLUEJACKETS WOUNDED. (Received 20, 8.5 a.m.) London, Oct. 19. While the destroyer Nymphe was practising at Weymouth a sixpounder burst a foot from the nozzle. The splinters wounded three of the crew and pierced the funnel.
