Mr. C. Codil will be a candidate for the Pukciapu Rilling at the Hawke's Bay County Council election. The other candidates for this riding are Mr. Harold and Mr. A. (’. Bennett. Donnelly will be returned unopposed for lhe F.rewhon Riding. There will be no opposition to Mr. Mason Chambers for the Havelock Riding, or to Air. AV. G. Stead for Marackakaho. Air. T. E. Crosse and Air. 11. Tan Simson contest the Heretaunga Riding. The (lections take place on November Sth.
