OH. STORE AT MANCHESTER. London. Oct. 12. A fire destroyed the Anglo-Ameri-can Oil Company's store on the Manchester Ship Canal. The damage is estimated at £30.000. The flaming oil crossed the canal and fired the jetties. HOUSE AT GREY LYNN. [per. press ASSOCIATION. I Auckland. Oct .13. A house in Grey Lynn, owned by Airs. Bryhain of Gisborne, was destroyed by fire last night during the absence of the tenants, Air. Porteous and wife, who had just taken occupation. and were actually removing the last of their furniture into the building. The screams of the children attracted attention and they were removed without injury.
