LOVE OF LUXURY AND EASE. (Received 13, 11.45 a.m.) London, Oct. 12. The Bishop of London in a charge to the clergy, stigmatises the deliberately declining birth-rate as a gigantic evil and urges the Church to give suitable teaching of the responsibilities of married life. There was a growing selfishness in thinking firstly of creature comforts and social pleasures.
