THE DEATH OF RICHARD POOLE.
INQUEST. An inquest coneerning the death of Ri.hard Poole, who was found dead on Saturday, was he’d the N'apier morgue this morning, before the district coroner. Mr. S. E- Mi Wuiliv - Thomas Henry Gale deposed tli.it the body was that of Richard Po.de, a gardener who livid at two-roomeii cottage in Burlington road. The deceased was about <’s years of age. II e Lad not complained of being in very ill health lately, latst saw the deceased alive ai ;',.>o on Friday night. Joseph Thomas Mount joy deposco that he saw deceased on Wednesday when he complained of being diWitness advised him to go io tr. hospital But lie refused. On Fiid.t. witness last saw him alive, and he then said he was feeling much better. At a quarter to ten on ftaturday morning, he found Poole dead in his bed. The deceased appeared to have died tn las sleep. Constable Heffvrman gave forma! evidence. The deceased had a bank book showing a credit of £‘lls.
