LONDON WOOL SALES
(Received 5. 11.30 a.m.) London, Oct. I. At the wool sides, prices were unchanged. For seouretls and faultier prices were irregular. WHEAT. 'I he visible .American wheat supply i.v 88,1-1 2,000 bushels. TALLOW. Eighteen bundled .and eighty-six casks were (.‘lered, and 1596 sold. Prices unchanged. MINING DIVIDENDS. Rcefton, Oct. 5. The Consolidated Goldfields, Ltd., pay a dividend of 1 - per share, and the Blackwater Mines :i dividend <;f I ti per share. LIVE STOCK. STORTI-'OllI) LODGE SALES. There was a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle at Sunt ford Lodge yards yesterday, when the Associated Stock Brokers held their usual weekly sale. Beef did not come forward in any quantity, and the quality was not up to usual. Fat sheep sold up to late rates. Both store cattle and sheep were in gold demand, most lots changing hands at satisfactory prices. '1 fie reports of the various brokers are given below : —

ADDINGTON SALE. [per press association.) Christchurch. Oct. I. There wore moderate entries of all classes of stock and a fair attendance. Fat cattle sold at almost the previous week’s rates. There were 103 fat lambs yarded, and the quality showed an improvement on the yarding of the week I cfo.e. Prices were accordingly better on the average. Best lambs made 16 - to lx 3. and others 13 6 to 15 9. The yarding <f fat :;he j p wa- a moderate une in point of numbers, and was principally made up of Southland sheep, t;f which there were some exceptionally goc.l lines. There was an active demand. and last week's rates were improved upon by (id t<> 1 - per head.
