FIRES.
ANOTHER PALMERSTON MYSTERY. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Palmerston North. Sept. 28. A fire occurred at 7.30 this morning in a five-roomed house owned by Mr. Gilbert Jones. It was fully furnished, but was not occupied at the time of the outbreak. The building was gutted and the furniture prai-l ii-ally destroyed. The insurances are L'lmi <m the building in the London and Lancashire. and £lOO on the fttriiitiire in the Standard.
