ORION’S GUN TESTS

VALLE OF EAR-FLAPS. (Received 28. 10.20 a.m.) London, Sept. 27. The gun tests on the Orion proved that seamen wearing wool-padded car-flaps scarcely heard the explosion of the thirteen and a-half-inch guns which violently shook the ship without affecting the structure.
