Mr. Law, a member of the Amalgamated Executive, in a speech at Dundalk, said they’ were prepared to call out the railway mien of Britain unless the companies yielded, even risk the running of Britain and Ireland into a civil war. The men of Dundalk are still working. TROOPS GUARD THE TUNNELS (Received 25, 9.50 a.m.) London, Sept. 21. Troops are guarding Cork tunnel and Limerick junction. REWARDS TO LOYALISTS. London, Sept. 23. The North-Eastern Rjiilwa.y distributed U’20,000 in bonuses to lo.yalists during the strike. PREMIUM AND BONUS SYSTEM. UNANIMOUS VOTE FOR ITS ABOLITION. (Received 25, 9.50 a.m.) London, Sept. 21. Five thousand boilermakers unanimously voted for the abolition of the premium and bonus systcm in the engineering and ship-building trade. Unanimous votes were likewise cast by the combined smiths, united copper-smiths, ind Birmingham sheet metal workers.

MOUNT LYELL MINERS ON STRIKE. Melbourne, Sept. 2-1. The whole of the miners of Mount Lyell struck vesterdav. The mine is idle. TW r O THOUSAND MEN IDLE Hobart, Sept. 25. Mount Lyell smelters have closed and over two thousand men are idle. The Governor is personally endeavouring to effect a settlement. ' (Received 25, 9.50 a.m.) London, Sept, 21. Mount Lyell shares are quoted at: buyers JI2O/9/-, sellers £2l/9/-. The weakness is owing to the labor troubles. PREFERENCE TO UNIONISTS. Melbourne, Sept. 25. A demonstration against the Federal Government’s preference to unionists mandate is in organisation.
