The following shall be the minimum rates of wages to be pttid to the several classes of workers herein specified, that is to say : Tunnel Work. 1 Tunnel men ami timber men Id - per shift ; all other workers employed underground, 9 - per shift. Quarry Work. I’owoer men, hammer men. and drill men, and jiunyet i men 1 1 per hour; till other workers I engaged in quarry work. 1 pet i hour. I Geivral Work. Labourers emploved in concrete work, pick and shot el work, fewer work, kerbing and channelling work, laying t<nd cleaning drains, and asphalt and lai I work. I - ner hour. i 10. No settlement was arrived at. the inniou s representatives declining to accept the co'im il's proposals. It is now open for the union to apply to the Arbitration Court for a new award.
