Stewart. A close finish resulted in a win for J. Clements and W. B. Simpson, who were one up on their opponents. In ihe aiternoon \V. McEwan (Wanganui) and J. Clements (Christchurch) played the final of the Stroke Competition (match play), McEwan winning 2 up.
