NAPIER LADIES’ TOURNAMENT
The above tournament was concluded on Saturday, the final of the championship being won by Mrs Guy AA’illiams who beat Miss Pearce after an interesting game.
The following are the results of the tournament: —
Championship (challenge cup and trophy): Mrs AVilliams ; runner-up, Miss Pearce.
Teams Match: Napeir No. 1 team (Misses Hindmarsh (2), and Crosse Mrs Cato.)
Bogey Handicap: First, Mrs Hector Smith ; second, Miss Sybil Abraham.
Mcda Handicap: Perry Cup and trophy, Miss Gilbertson ; runner-up, Miss. Sylvia Abraham. Driving Competition : Miss Crosse. Approaching and (Putting: Miss Pearce. ./ Ladies’ Fourball Match: Mrs CKj( and Miss Balfour.
Consolation Bogey Match : Miss F Clark.
Mixed Foresomes: Trophies pre sented by Messrs McClurg and McVay, Miss Campbell and Mr. C. Gordon.
Mr. Donnelly’s trophy for best gross score made during tournament : Miss AA’illiams (84). Miss Hindmarsh’s trophy for eclectic score during tournament : Miss Pearce (72). Putting Prize (presented by Mr McLernon): Miss Hindmarsh (17). CLUB PRIZES. Club Championship: Miss Hindmarsh. “B” championship: Airs James McLean’s trophy, Miss C. Hindmarsh.
