Mrs. Gifford Moore, and Misses Moore (2) of Palmerston North, Mr. and Mrs. P. S. Waterhouse and M’ss Nellie Waterhouse, of Mangawbare, and Dr. AV. Fox, of Christ church, are among the visitors staving at the Masonic Hotel, Napier.

Miss Eleanor F. Pc.vman. formerly of Napier and Wanganui, has been appointed matron of the Svdney Homeopathic Hospital. For the past three months Mbs Pev man has been head nurse in that institution, and has been appoint cd by the board to fill the vacant matronsbip. Miss Pcyman was trained in the Napier Hospital, Hawke’s Bay. and him been engaged in private nursing in AVanganui for the past two years.
