NEARING HOME.

WIRELESS FROM THE RUAPEHU.

Wellington, Aug. 25

At 11 o’clock the Ruapehu was 140 miles away and cannot arrive with the Premier till late. to-night. Later.

The advice by wireless re Ruapehu seems to have been incorrect, as the New Zealand Shipping Company have received word from Cape Farewell that the steamer passed there at 10.20, and should be in by 8 p.m.
