Atwood has accomplished 500; miles of his outward journey from: Saint Louis to Boston. In his flight he beat the express trains! several times. He was obliged to abandon carrying a passenger, as, when the aeroplane was rising it; brushed against a tree, the passen-! ger falling to the ground. t
