Mr. George Wright is making very satisfactory progress with the re-valuation of the Napier South Town District.
Mr. J. Vigor Brown has forwarded to the Hawke’s Bay 7 County* C ouned a copy of a letter received from the Minister of Public Works, promising to give consideration to applications for subsidies for repaiis to roads damaged bv the floods.
In response to a complaint, the Napier Borough Council lias written to the Haw r ke ? s Bay County Council stating that in future all rubbish deposited on the Taradale flat will be buried at a suitable distance from the road.
