LOW DEATH RATE

The annual report of the Medical Health Officer shows last yoar’s death record in Sydney was 10.09 per thousand, the lowest in the world ; infant mortality recorded 82 per thousand ; births are also highly satisfactory. Cases of consumption have greatly decreased.
