The identity of the gelding called Kurri Kurri. which recently won the Novice Handicap is doubted. Heddon has now proved the gelding was brought from New Zealand early in May and later was sold privately by C. A. Coneron to Mick Gilroy and won the race. As the result of the enquiry Kurri Kurri, Coneron and Gilroy are disqualified for life
