DRUNKENNESS

A first offender pleaded guilty to a charge of drunkenness and was convicted and fined 20/- and 2/costs, or 48 hours. James AA 7 aldmar, who some time ago was fined 40/- for being drunk while in charge of a horse, came into Napier yesterday to ask for an extension of time in which to pay* his fine and again fell a victim to temptation and was fined 60/and 2/- costs. A month w r as allowed to pay the fine. UNDEFENDED CASES. Judgment w T as given for the plaintiff in the following undefended cases. Rogers v. No Rauapia, £7/13/6, costs £l/19/6; Kissell v.
