A meeting of the Management Committee was held last evening ii: Napier. Present: Messrs. W. -I. McGrath (chairman). A. C. Barnes. E. AV. Andrews. F. Tankard, and the secretary. It was resolved that a letter ot thanks be forwarded to the Dtume\itke Sub-Umon for thejr spiend' I treatment of the Napier tearn which placed in Dannevirke on the 26th July. The Hastings Sub-Union wrote asking for payment of railway fares for their junior team, which play? I in Napier on July 2nd. Tim payment- of the amount t£l I'-) was authorised. The Athletic Club wrote asking for payment of io ?. amount paid by them for railway fares. Payment authorised. The Pirates Football Club wrotasking that a player be reinstated as a junior in their team.- -Granted. Accounts amounting to £l4's/4 were passed for payment.
HASTINGS RI GBY SUB UNION
| The weekly meeting of the HastI ings Sub-Union was held last even j ing. Mr. J Garnett presiding. j The Kautuki Football Club asked ' that their remaining matches for I this season be played at 3 p.m. - I Endeavour to be made to accede to i the request. The secretary was instructed to ! make all arrangements for the shield match Waipawa Sub-Union v. Hastings on August 12th. The following fixtures were arranged for Saturday 7 next : — Rovers v. Celtic, 2 p.m. ; referee, Mr. Stevens. Rovers v. Pirates (seniors). 3 p.m. : Mr. Stubbs. VVaimarama v. Celtic A. 3 p.m. ; Mr. Horne. Kautuki v. Athletic. 3 p.m. : Mr. de Launay. The Athletic team forfeit to Old Boys in the senior championship. Accounts amounting to £1 15/3 were passed for payment.
